Farmer Joe holars to me to take the garbage down the driveway for the garbageman to pick up. No problem, its the least I can do. I realize quickly that this is not just garbage but a huge bag of balloons. I cant believe he thought this would be considered garbage. Geeeesh. Well, I know exactly what needs to be done plus I do know to make more space and recycle this bag too. I grab each balloon one by one out of the bag, not knowing what color or the size will come next but no matter what, each tied off and inflated balloon goes beneath my black flats and gets smashed, smooshed, covered and XXXX and of course popped. Some burst faster than others. Some seem to enjoy my slip ons rubbing and stretching them before they explode. I think this is the most fun I've had with a bag of trash in my entire life. In the end, not one of the balloons survive and all that is left is a double handful of shards and my huge genuine smile as well.
