My girlfriend is out of town and I can't think of a better way to make her smile when she walks in the door than to blow up several balloons and have her see them right aways vs think about the humdrum of back to reality immediately. I sit on her couch and pick out the most fun balloons I have and I blow them up. I forgot how hard the long bulb balloons are to inflate, but after puffy cheeks and red face blowing, I succeed. I blow up 2 yellow smiley face balloons and a clear and a couple other smaller balloons. If it wasn't such a nice day out and she didn't live so close to the beach, i would have blown up many many more. I then carefully write on 2 of the balloons to know we missed her and welcoming her home. Once that is done, I then strategically decorate a few places with the balloons to be sure she sees most of them right aways and finds others later in the day. **Days later she told me they made her smile and she asked if using a pin to pop them was a good idea. Of course, i said. She said they were all still fully inflated and very loud when they popped** This makes me smile to know I shared the joy of popping but in a delayed fashion:)
