Once again I'm at BoundCOn 17 and I am being bound by Maksim Kalahari. His primary language is Russian and mine is English so my dear friend Delona helps with translation along with a few other people in the crowd. This is one of the things I love about Boundcon is there are talented rope artists from all over the world and speaking the same language as your top or bottom isn't necessary when we share the language of rope. The goal is for him to tie me up so I cant escape and my goal is to escape. I know right when he starts with the first rope that I'm doomed but I smile and laugh nervously just hoping I can handle the very very tight elbow bondage and tight hogtie. I know I wont even loosen a rope, so my goal is to put on a show and struggle as much as I can with out causing any injury more so than I already have on my wrists from previous escape challenges. I begin sweating and glistening but I give it 2 more minutes to trying to escape or well, just enduring this ridiculously tight hogtie. Once Maksim comes to release me, he rubs my sweat from my face and wow, my true look of subspace and high from being on stage is so true and genuine. Now this is what I call a small gesture that means a lot.  Many are grossed out by my sweat and when he wasn't..it made something click and I liked it! I sure would love to get in his ropes again in the future to say the least!  I definitely lost this challenge but I feel I won the ultimate prize to have the chance to be on this stage bound by Maksim and so many other world renowned rope artists!
