Ever wonder what its like to step back into the 1860's and also have a balloon popping fetish? Well, let me show you how I combine my hobby with my love of bursting balloons. First I must get ready for battle (and bursts) by getting properly dressed in my civil war reenactment gear inside my tent. I have a fun song playing in the background that has me giggling but its such a perfect tune for getting ready. Once Im dressed and show you my proper battle dress and ensure I have my ammo ready aka balloons, we now can take a walk.
Once we are in the woods hidden from the enemy lines, I tell you a bit of the history of balloons and what exactly I am wearing and why. I not only keep tubes filled with powder in my cartridge box, I also keep balloons in there too. I sit back with 4 balloons and blow them up and tie them off and tease 3 of the 4 with my bayonet until I cant take anymore and i pop them with my sharp bayonet. I really am enjoying this time away from battle to pop these suckers, just as they deserve. Luckily the exploding sounds of the balloons match the sounds of war, so nobody should come wondering what I'm doing. Enjoy watching what I love the most, dressing like a man for weekends at a time and popping balloons and of course indulging in adult beverages too;) Please pardon my very dirty hands and dirty nails. Just the way it is when baths and showers are non existent in civilwar reenactments;) This is a perfect day to destroy balloons!
